   Division 1 No. 2 Bloomfield Hills improved to 11-0-1 on the season with a convincing 6-2 girls tennis victory over No. 5 Grosse Pointe South on Thursday, May 13, at Bloomfield Hills.

   Bloomfield Hills won three singles flights with Danielle Herb (No. 2), Grace Shaya (No. 3), and Julia Yousif (No. 4) earning wins.

   In doubles, the Bloomfield Hills teams of Raegan Tomina and Carly Bernard (No. 2), Natalie Raab and Eryn Stern (No. 3), and Grace Bickersteth and Ellie Alberts (No. 4) earned victories.

   Bloomfield tied No. 1 Ann Arbor Pioneer earlier this season.

   The Michigan High School Athletic Association regionals are next week. Bloomfield Hills will compete in the Clarkston regional. No other ranked teams are in the regional.

   The Division 1 finals will be held Friday and Saturday, June 4-5, in the Lansing area.

   Bloomfield Hills finished second to Grosse Pointe South in the 2019 Division 1 finals.

   The 2020 season was cancelled due to the pandemic.
